We at Haute Peppers uphold vegetarianism and so always strive to “do the new” to woo one and all to our side of the fence. In the food business, it is a challenge to serve up vegetarian versions of original non vegetarian recipes. The F&B team at Haute Peppers took up this mammoth task and after intensive research and many food trials have succeeded in coming up with vegetarian versions that confirm to the original recipe in taste and texture yet are totally vegetarian.
To cite a few examples, in the Puttenesca sauce, we have replaced anchovies with mushrooms. Likewise, we make fresh pasta everyday.
In the Pan Asian Section, we prefer to make our own Green curry and Red curry paste as even the ready made vegetarian paste has a lot of fish sauce and oyster sauce. We use tofu paste to get the distinct Pan Asian flavour.
In the world Cuisine section, the Veg Tajine is fast becoming very popular. It is prepared in the traditional manner along with all original spices, only we have replaced the meat with VEGETABLE dumplings. |
